Marty Willson-Piper is an English guitarist, singer, and songwriter best known as a longtime member of the Australian band The Church (1980-2013). Over a 45-year career, he's built a rich body of work through solo records, collaborations with All About Eve and The Saints, and his own project Noctorum. In 2025, he launched Archaeological Dig, Volume. 1, a reimagined collection of songs spanning his career, featuring acoustic and orchestral reinterpretations of deep cuts and fan favorites like "Tristesse" and "Spark." The album is the first in a planned trilogy and showcases Willson-Piper's enduring lyrical and sonic depth.
