Jewish communities have been settling in China for centuries, beginning with the early settlers in Kaifeng in 1162 and continuing through to the Jewish community in Shanghai during the 1940s. This exhibit highlights the resilience and compelling stories of those who sought refuge in Shanghai from the Nazis during World War II.
